Lombok Island is one of destination in Indonesia,
beside Bali Island that attractive tourist. Lombok Island is attractive
not because it's place of transition between Indonesia and Australia. It's
famous caused of it's flora, fauna, and culture that have speciality. Lombok is known as "the beautiful
princess who fell asleep". Some of tourist from Europe describe Lombok
Island as 'young and sweet village' which is can make us as Indonesian citizen
proud to our nation,Also there of some people said if Lombok Island is similarities with Bali Island in 50 years ago. This is caused in the end of 17 centuries many Bali people which is come to Lombok and each of them have different culture and ethnic.
Lombok culture is strongly influence by Java (Majapahit), Bali, and Goa.Sumbawa culture is influenced in a traditional house, clothes, traditional ceremonies and belief.
The famous tourism object in Lombok Island is Senggigi beach, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, Kuta Beach which is not in Bali Island but located in Lombok Island, also others tourism objects.
There some of food that can we taste on Lombok Island that is plecing kangkung, chicken taliwang, satay bulayak, Ares and another. Still many food in Lombok Island that have good taste, so, when we are in Lombok Island do not forget to taste special food in Lombok Island.
